Amuse Studio FAQs

A Muse Studio FAQ
I receive many questions about becoming a consultant with A Muse Studio. I hope that this FAQ will give you an helpful overview, but keep in mind that this is not an official A Muse Studio document. The consultant agreement that you sign when you join and the consultant handbook should, of course, be read carefully and contain the official A Muse Studio policies.

How do I become a consultant?
You sign up to be a consultant by purchasing one of the two starter kits. They are both being offered at special introductory prices right now, $99 or $149. After purchasing the kit, if you want to, you can start holding events as a representative for A Muse Studio!

Do I have to buy or sell anything after I buy the starter kit?
No. If you just want to purchase the starter kit because it’s such a great deal, you can do that without any futher obligation. If you don’t purchase or sell anything by the end of the first full quarter after you signed up, you simply won’t be an active consultant anymore. No action is required if you choose not to continue being a consultant.

What are the minimums to remain an active consultant?
In order to remain an active consultant, you must purchase or sell $300 per quarter.

Where is A Muse Studio Headquarters?
Seattle, Washington

What kinds of stamps does A Muse Studio carry?
They are deeply etched red rubber cling. The images are printed on the side that adheres to the clear block. There is no assembly or stickers to put on, they are ready to stamp right out of the case.

What are the new A Muse Studio inks like?
They are pigment ink, but in my opinion and experience, they stamp more like chalk ink. They dry quickly for a pigment ink, and give great coverage and detail. The ink has been getting rave reviews since it’s introduction! In the past, I’ve found other pigment inks goopy and unpleasant to stamp with, but I really love my A Muse Studio inks! You can emboss with them, too!

Is A Muse Studio an angel company?
Yes! They have a generous angel policy. There are no restrictions about mixing product on items you’re selling. There is no angel stamp required at this time.

Can I be on a design team and still be an A Muse Studio consultant?
Yes! As long as it isn’t a design team for another home-party based stamp company like SU! or CTMH.

Can I use other companies’ stamps on projects I post to my blog/sell/have published?
Yes! You can use whatever product you want, post it on your blog, or sell items. A Muse Studio doesn’t have policies limiting what products you use.

What competitive activities am I restricted from as an A Muse Studio consultant?
You cannot be a demonstrator or consultant for another home-party based stamp company while you are active with A Muse Studio. If it’s not home-party based, that’s fine. Non-stamp home party based companies like Pampered Chef, Party-Lite, etc. are just fine!
